2014 Monthly Meeting
The meeting will be held on Sunday April 27th 2014 at the Naparima Boys
College in San Fernando at 10.00am.
Directions to the venue:
On the Rienzi Kirton Highway driving to the San Fernando General Hospital
turn left at traffic light (Board of Inland Revenue is on the left). The
College is located on the hill..
Monthly
Show Table
There will be the usual monthly show table so do bring along your flowering
orchids to be judged
Monthly Plant Raffle
There will be a raffle of an orchid plant at the cost of $ 5.00 for two
chances.
South Orchid Show 2014.
The Venue
for the South Orchid Show 2014 is the Naparima Boys College, San Fernando
and the theme of the Show is "Orchid Radiance".
Dates for the South Orchid Show are Saturday June 21st. and Sunday June
22nd. 2014 from 9.00 am to 6.30pm on both days.
Set up date for exhibits is June 19th2014 from 9.00am
Judging will commence on Friday June 20th 2014 at 9.00am
The Show Chairperson is Mr. Gopaul Chackan and the Co-Chairperson is Mr.
Anis Baig.
Members wishing to serve on the Show Committee can contact Gopaul Chackan
@ 657-5682 and Anis Baig @ 653-5961.
Cost of tickets is $25.00 advance and $30.00 at the door
Financial members are free, but must display their current badges at the
door for entry to the Show.
Vending/Rates ---- South Orchid Show 2014
Members wishing to vend at the South Orchid Show can contact Joan Hampton

Costs of tables are as follows:
One (1) table> $1,000.00 + caution fee of $200.00
Two (2) tables > $1,600.00 + caution fee of $200.00
Three (3) tables > $2,400.00 + caution fee of $200.00
Four (4) tables > $3,200.00 + caution fee of $200.00
Contracts will be distributed at the monthly meeting on April 27th 2014
at the Naparima Boys College.
All contracts must be returned signed and fees paid at the May 25th 2014
meeting at La Vega. At this meeting the vendors will be given twenty (20)
tickets to be sold for the Show
Plant Prizes
Cheques for plant prizes will be presented at the April monthly meeting
on Sunday April 27th 2014.

The Society is not affiliated with the visit of Fred Clark and will not
be associated or in any way responsible with any activities during his
visit.
