August 2011 Monthly Meeting

This meeting will be held on Sunday August 21st, 2011 at 10.00 am,at the Horticultural Society of Trinidad and Tobago headquarters on Lady Chancellor Road, Port of Spain.
It is customary for the first meeting of the new term that we engage the members in discussion to get their views and suggestions that will allow the management to plan for implementation of activity during the year.

Monthly Show Table

There will be the monthly show table so do bring along your flowering orchids for judging.

Monthly Plant Raffle

There will be a raffle of an Orchid plant donated by Sahadaye Maraj. The price is two (2) chances for $5.00.

Condolences

The Management and Members of the Society extend our deepest sympathy to Arthur Chin Fatt and family on the death of Lucia Chin Fatt who was a member of the Society.

Orchid Show October 2011

Plans are in the final stages for the hosting of the Society's Annual Orchid Show on 1st and 2nd October 2011 The Chairperson for this show is Joan Hampton .
The Management and the Show Committee is pleased to advise that we will be exploring all opportunities to have American Orchid Society Judging at this show.
A special call goes out to all members to assist and contribute in making this show a great success.
