June Monthly Meeting

The meeting will be held on Sunday June 26th 2016 at the La Vega Estate Garden Centre in Gran Couva located in Central Trinidad at 10.00am.

To get there,

-you turn off the Couva Flyover on the Solomon Hochoy Highway heading east.
- Travelling along this main road continuing in an easterly direction into Gran Couva, you will notice directional signs posted at the side of the road leading to the estate.
- The entrance is off the left side of the Gran Couva main road and the estate is about (1) mile inside.

The following activities can be enjoyed on the estate: biking, lake fishing,
trail walking, meditation, sports and outdoor relaxation.
The visit is a wonderful opportunity to view the La Vega Estate sales area which displays a wide variety of plants from which purchases can be made.

Members are not allowed to bring plants for sale at this venue.

Monthly Show Table.

There will be the monthly show table so bring along your flowering orchids for judging.

Monthly Plant Raffle

There will be a raffle of an Orchid Plant.
The price is $5.00 per chance.

Renewal of Membership Dues for 2016/2017

Members are reminded that the Treasurer Mr. Gervais de Matas is now receiving members' renewal subscriptions for 2016/2017.
Payments can be made by cheque payable to TTOS and forwarded to the Society's mailbox P.O. Box 1128, Port of Spain, as well as at this monthly meeting on Sunday June 19th 2016 at La Vega Estate.
All dues must be paid by July 1st 2016 prior to the AGM as the Treasurer will not be accepting subscriptions on the day of the AGM on July 17th 2016.
Only members who are financial for the year 2016/2017 will be allowed to vote at the AGM

Annual General Meeting 2016

The Annual General Meeting and monthly meeting of the Society will be held on Sunday July 17th 2016 at the Headquarters of the Horticultural Society on Lady Chancellor Road,
Port of Spain at 10.00 am

Advance procedures for AGM 2016

Listing of financial members will be on a listing at the door. After verifying that the members are financial, they will be given a ballot which will allow them to vote.

Other

Members who attended the Gala and official opening of the Diamond Jubilee Orchid Show on Friday May 20th 2016 are requested to pay for their tickets at this meeting.
