March 2013 monthly Meeting.

The meeting will be held on Sunday March 24th 2013 at 10.00 am at the St.Xavier Primary School in St. Joseph. To get there you go along the Eastern Main Road to St. Joseph, turn into St. Joseph Road at the traffic lights at the Eastern Credit Union La Joya Complex and take a right turn at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, then a left turn onto a short intersection and then a right turn that leads right into the premises of St.Xavier Primary School.

Family Day 2013
The Society wishes to thank Mr. Hugh Clerk for the use of his beach house in Rampanalagas, Balandra. A great time was had by all who attended the family day.

Spring Orchid Show 2013.

The Spring Orchid Show2013 will take place on Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th 2013
The venue for the show is the National Academy of Performing Arts South Campus.
The theme for this year's Spring Orchid Show "ORCHIDS! A GIFT TO MOTHERS" promises to be a grand affair as it will be the first time it is being held at the National Academy of Performing Arts in the South.

Tickets for this show are priced at $25.00 prepaid and at the door $30.00.
Tickets will be available at March 2013 monthly meeting at St. Xavier Primary School and members are requested to take as many tickets to sell in order to make this show a success.

There will be the usual monthly show table, so do bring along your flowering orchids.

Condolences

The Management and Members of the Society extend our deepest sympathy to Arthur Chin Fatt on the death of his brother Lionel Chin Fatt.

Monthly Plant Raffle.

There will be a raffle of a wrought iron wall plant hanger and the price will be $5.00 a chance.
