The Society will be hosting its sixth Spring Orchid Show and Symposium on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27, May 2007 at the auditorium of the San-Fernando Technical Institute, located at the southern end of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, Tarouba, San-Fernando.
Show times will be 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. on both days.

In celebrating of the Society's Fiftieth Year of existence - the Golden Anniversary - we have adopted the theme 'ORCHIDS…50 NOT OUT' and taking a cue from the ICC World Cup Cricket tournament staged this year in the Caribbean.

We will have a symposium on both days where we will present an educational program of lectures and workshops on orchids to the public. Featured also will be exhibits from our sister societies, government and non-government organizations.
Orchid plants will be on sale.

Plant entry for competition will be from 3 pm on May 23 - Friday.

Ticket price is $15.00 if purchased in advance, and will entitle the purchaser to a chance on a door prize. At the door the price of entry will be $20.00

To bring the curtain down on our golden anniversary celebrations we will also be having the 'PRESIDENT'S BALL' at the show hall at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday 26th May 2007. Bookings for this event will close on Thursday May 24 2007.

Tickets are priced at $125.00. Dress will be lounge suit. Tickets are available from Tony Tang Kai, Paula Pantin, James Razack and Gopaul Chackan.
