The first
Monthly meeting for 2003 is scheduled for January 17 at 10.00 AM, at the
home of Mrs D. Kirpilani. Mrs Kirpilani's address is 30 Pinehurst Street,
Fairways, Maraval, Port of Spain. There will
be a Show Table so please bring your plants in bloom.
Topics for the meeting
will be:
- Planning for future meetings, the field trip
and future venues
- TTOS participation in upcoming shows
Pest Control methods
- Dry season management of your orchids
- We look forward to welcoming all members
at this the first meeting for the new year.
An on-line
slide show of pictures from the 3 days of the Annual show has been prepared
for viewing.
There will be a show
table and judging will be held
in the following classes:
Renanthera, Arachnis
and hybrids; Vanda; Ascocenda; Phalaenopsis: Dendrobium; Cattleya; Oncidium;
Terrestrials; Trinidad and Tobago
species; Other species and hybrids; First flowering seedlings.
A new class has been
added for the plants of new members of the Society.
