The next meeting of the society will be held on Sunday September 15, 2002
at the Horticultural Society Hall, Lady Chancellor Rd, Port of Spain.
There will be the usual show table etc.
Due to circumstances
beyond the control of the Society, the annual Orchid Show has been postponed.
The Gala opening will be held on
October 25 and the show will be open to the public
on October 26 and 27.
There will be a show table and judging will be held
in the following classes:
Renanthera, Arachnis
and hybrids; Vanda; Ascocenda; Phalaenopsis: Dendrobium; Cattleya; Oncidium;
Terrestrials; Trinidad and Tobago
species; Other species and hybrids; First flowering seedlings.
A new class has been added for the plants of new members
of the Society.
Plant prizes are awarded
to the best exhibits.
