“Orchids on the Promenade” is the theme for
our Mini Show to be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd at St. Joseph’s Convent San
Fernando, located adjacent to Harris Promenade.
The format will follow normal Monthly Show Bench Ribbon Judging. Members however are required to present their plants at the Convent’s Auditorium
from 4pm on Friday 21st May. Plants can be mounted in your own display area if you wish. It
will be managed by our Southern located
members under the chairmanship of Mr. Alvin Benjamin (Phone: 653-1169) and assisted by Mr. Gopaul Chackan (Phone 657-5682). This event replaces our traditional “May Social”.

We encourage you to bring whatever filling material you can, ferns, moss, etc.. We appeal to all our members to bring or send your plants so that we
can maintain our proud tradition that the public
has come to expect.

Orchid plants and supplies will be offered for sale
by several vendors.

Entrance fee $10.00, children under 12 free.

Show runs from 10am to 6pm each day. Volunteers for setting up or assisting please
contact Alvin Benjamin or Gopaul Chackan.
